Amrita Rao’s husband to make TV debut?

Mumbai, May 30 (IANS) RJ Anmol, who recently tied the knot with actress Amrita Rao, will reportedly make his debut on the small screen as a host of the upcoming show “Life Ka Recharge”.

“Life Ka Recharge”, which will be aired on &TV, is touted to be a light-hearted comedy show that will have social media at its heart.

“Anmol has been approached to host the show and the discussion with the makers is going on in full swing. The show is set to be shot exclusively in Jaipur,” said a source from the show.

“With social media as its muse, the show will spread laughter through satirical comedy presented through skits, gags, public opinions and unique characters that will ensure the audience roll with laughter,” the source added.

Interestingly, Amrita is also currently seen on the same channel in the TV show “Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai”.

The couple, who were in a seven-year-long relationship, got married earlier this month.

Nakuul Mehta's unique style to beat heat

Popular TV actor Nakuul Mehta, who will be seen sporting a businessman look in his next TV show “Ishqbaaaz”, couldn't stand the heat on the set and jumped into the pool with his blazer on.

Nakuul, who is making a comeback on TV post “Pyaar Ka Dard Hai” which ended almost two years ago, was shooting at the pool side for a sequence of the show.

“We were shooting this sequence bang in the middle of May. It was difficult, but the minute it was done, before the director could even call 'pack up', having had enough, I jumped into the pool with my blazer on,” Nakuul said in a statement.

“Only later did I realise that I had the entire costume department and crew staring at me for what I did. Although, at that moment, all I did was smile sheepishly and then went on to enjoy some respite from the heat,” he added.

“Ishqbaaz”, which will be aired on Star Plus, will tell the story of three brothers, Omkar, Rudra and Shivaay.

While Nakuul will be seen as Shivaay, the roles of Omkar and Rudra will be played by Kunal Jaisingh and Leenesh Mattoo.

Playing a boy onscreen is actually fun: Aditi Bhatia

Actress Aditi Bhatia, who is currently playing the role of a boy in popular TV show “Ye Hai Mohabbatein”, says she is “enjoying” essaying the character despite being a girl and feels it is “fun”.

“Playing a boy is actually fun. Girls tend to get conscious but boys are carefree. I’m enjoying the latter bit for sure. The biggest challenge is to behave like a boy which I faced initially but now I am used to it,” Aditi said in a statement.

Though she added that playing a boy's role is not at all easy.

“I have extremely long hair that fall till below my waist. So tying them up into a wig for the boy look takes time. There are boys on set who often help me with the mannerisms which is a lot of fun. I’m all used to it by now,” Aditi said.

The Star Plus show features Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel in the lead.
