New Delhi, May 28 (IANS) It was a sunny and warm Saturday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature settling at 31.6 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average, weather officials said.
"The sky will remain clear but it can turn cloudy towards the afternoon with dust and thunderstorm likely to occur in some areas towards the evening," said an official of Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
Maximum temperature is likely to hover around 42 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 39 percent, the official said.
Friday's maximum temperature was recorded at 41.2 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average while the minimum temperature of the day settled at 30.6 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average.
