Kamal Hassan Rajinikanth will act together only if one of them is a producer

Many may not be aware that versatile actor Kamal Hassan was the first choice for Shankar's Robo, which later on went to become one of Superstar Rajinikanth's biggest hits. Shankar later offered the role of the Villian in part two of the movie,2.0, which later went on to Akshay Kumar.

Kamal says that he was apprehensive if an outside producer can do justice of managing Rajni and Kamal's image together and also that both the legends have decided to work together only when one of them is the producer of the movie.
