New Delhi, May 27 (IANS) It was a sunny and warm Friday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature settling at 30.6 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average, weather officials said.
"The skies will remain partly cloudy with haze and thunderstorm likely to occur in some areas," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Maximum temperature is likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 39 percent, the official said.
On Thursday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 38.9 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average while the minimum temperature of the day settled at 26.0 degrees Celsius.
