Los Angeles, May 24 (PTI) R&B singer Tamar Braxton is leaving her role as co-host on US talk show "The Real".
The star, 39, made her debut on the daytime programme alongside fellow celebrities Tamera Mowry-Housley, Adrienne Bailon, comedienne Loni Love, and TV personality Jeannie Mai when the show premiered in 2013, reported People magazine.
A joint statement from Tamar and show producers read, "'The Real' and Tamar Braxton have mutually decided that Tamar will not be continuing with the show for its upcoming third season.
"She will be leaving in order to concentrate on her solo career. Everyone associated with The Real appreciates Tamar's efforts and the contributions she has made to the show's success, and we wish her all the best for the future."
The news emerged a day after Tamar announced she was taking a hiatus from social media after revealing her trust had been betrayed by a mystery person.
