Mumbai, May 24 (IANS) Screenwriter Mayur Puri will pen the dialogues of the Hindi version of the upcoming Hollywood film The Angry Birds Movie.
Puri, who wrote dialogues of Hindi version of The Jungle Book and Captain America: Civil War, will be weaving magic to The Angry Birds Movie along with co-writers Taranveer Singh and Akshaye Rathi, read a statement.
Taking the basic structure of Rovio Entertainment's eponymous mobile game, the movie brings the game's action to the big screen in a witty manner.
In the game, angry but cute little birds fight it out with pigs which have stolen their eggs. It vouches to take the audience back in time, tracing the origin of the battle between the birds and pigs.
"The Angry Birds Movie" is releasing in India on Friday in English, Hindi and Tamil.
The film is supported by Jason Sudeikis as Red, Danny McBride as the volatile Bomb, Bill Hader as a pig, Josh Gad as Chuck, and Peter Dinklage as the Mighty Eagle. It will be distributed by Sony Pictures.
