Los Angeles, May 25 (IANS) Singer Marc Anthony has been sued for double booking a European tour.
Anthony is the subject of a Manhattan lawsuit from Amsterdam-based R&J Entertainment, who claim that he signed a contract with them in January 2014 in which he agreed to perform in Rotterdam, London and Barcelona that year, and further shows in summer 2005, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Despite their "exclusive" deal, the 47-year-old is accused of then backing out of the shows, with R&J finding out he had agreed to "near identical performance agreements with a third party promotion company".
The promoters are suing Anthony for damages incurred by cancelling the concerts.
