Berlin, May 23 (IANS) Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer said chief coach Pep Guardiola did not fail in anything during the three football seasons he was at the Bavarian football club, despite not winning the UEFA Champions League.
In an interview published in the magazine Kicker on Monday, Neuer praised the work done by Guardiola, which he described as "sensational", reports Efe.
The goalkeeper said that the work in these three years has paid off, since the team has shown in the Champions League and in Germany that it plays the best football, better than all other teams, thanks to Guardiola.
According to Neuer, Guardiola has advanced with Bayern in every aspect, stressing that he personally has learned a lot as a player and as a human being from the Spanish coach.
