Islamabad, May 20 (IANS) At least three militants were killed when one of their suicide vests went off while on their way to carry out attacks in Pakistan's Peshawar city on Friday, officials said.
Superintendent of Police Kashif Zulfiqar said the three militants were riding a motorbike when the one of their suicide jackets went off, Xinhua news agency reported.
Zulfiqar said two of the terrorists looked like foreigners while one had local features and all of them were equipped with suicide vests, sophisticated weapons and hand grenades.
The accident happened a few miles away from Warsak Road area where dozens of schools and colleges are located, shortly before the school time.
