Katowice, May 19 (IANS) The eighth European Economic Congress (EEC), billed as one of the most important business meetings in Central Europe, began here on Wednesday.
Until May 20, the meeting will host more than 100 debates, forums and the European Start-up event, Xinhua reported.
The range of topics to be discussed this year includes the Middle East conflict, digitalisation of the economy, energy security and climate policy.
The third day of the event will focus on the progress of the Belt and Road Initiative.
