Kolkata, May 18 (IANS) A day ahead of the counting of votes in the West Bengal assembly polls, several crude bombs were recovered from the premises of a city club on Wednesday.
"Eight crude bombs were recovered from a club in Tangra. Two club members have been detained for questioning," said a police officer.
Counting of votes for the 294 constituencies will be held on Thursday in 90 centres across the state.
