New Delhi, May 16 (IANS) It was a hot Monday morning in Delhi with the minimum temperature recorded at 26.4 degree celsius, the season's average, weather officials said.
"The skies will remain clear which would become partly cloudy. Thunderstorm and duststorm are likely to occur towards the evening or night," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Maximum temperature is likely to hover around 43 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 36 percent, the official said.
The national capital experienced another scorching day on Sunday with the maximum temperature settling at 42.6 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while minimum temperature settled at 27.4 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
