Fourth-placed Nice rounded up a superb campaign after Alassanne Plea scored twice in a 3-2 win away to Guingamp.

At the other end of the table, Toulouse secured survival with a superb comeback from 1-2 down to a 3-2 win at Angers, thanks to two goals in two minutes from Martin Braithwaite and substitute Yann Bodiger after Wissam Ben Yedder's strike.

Toulouse subsequently finished on the 17th position, with Gazelec Ajaccio heading into Ligue 2 after being beaten 0-1 by Lorient, along with bottom club Troyes, who drew 1-1 with Marseille, and Reims, whose 4-1 thrashing of second-placed Lyon proved to be in vain.
