It wasn’t experimentation: Mel B on lesbian past

Los Angeles, May 15 (IANS) Singer Mel B has dismissed talks that her lesbian past was simply "an experiment" and revealed she was "in love with a woman for five years".

"It wasn't experimentation. I fell in love with a woman for five years. An experiment doesn't last five years," she told Gay Star News, reports mirror.co.uk.

"(Now) I'm a married woman who's in love with a man," she added.

The former Spice Girls band member tied the knot with Stephen Belafonte in 2008, and between them they have four girls including Madison who they welcomed into the world together in 2011.
