New Delhi, May 13 (IANS) It was a partly cloudy Friday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 27.6 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, the weather office said.
"The sky will remain partly cloudy throughout the day with dust/thunderstorm likely to occur in the evening," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
According to the Met office, the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 38 percent, the official said.
Thursday's maximum temperature settled at 41 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.5 degrees Celsius, one notch above season's average.
