New York, May 11 (IANS) Singer Taylor Swift's security guards detained a "disoriented" intruder who tried to get inside her residence here.
The man walked around the porch of the building, looking suspicious. Knowing the situation, the singer's security team took quick action by detaining the man and calling 911.
When police and fire fighters arrived, the man was handcuffed and taken away, reports tmz.com.
In a video obtained by the site, the man appeared to carry a duffel bag, which the police searched. They did it to check whether he brought weapons or anything that could harm the 26-year-old singer.
Law enforcement sources described him as "emotionally disturbed", so he was taken to a hospital for evaluation. Police said they took him for psychiatric treatment and he was not arrested and suspected of any crime.
This is not the first time that Swift has dealt with an unwanted visitor. Back in February, a man with a guitar was detained outside her Beverly Hills home. He insisted on singing her a song and refused to leave until her bodyguards called the police.
