Chandigarh, May 11 (IANS) Drivers of state-run Haryana Roadways found using mobile phones while driving would be placed under suspension, Transport Minister Krishan Lal Panwar said on Wednesday.
Speaking after a State Road Safety Council meeting here, Panwar said he had received frequent complaints on the use of mobile phones by bus drivers while driving.
"This leads to risk of accidents. The erring drivers will invite stern action if they indulge in this practice," the minister said.
