New Delhi, May 10 (IANS) Vodafone India on Monday announced it has introduced its SuperNet 4G service in Delhi NCR for which it has upgraded its network to provide better connectivity solutions to over one crore customers.
"In the past one year we have made significant investments of over Rs.1,000 crore to upgrade our network for more than 1 crore customers in the Delhi NCR region. Our teams have worked round the clock to set up more than 3,200 telecom sites," said Vodafone India's business head, Delhi NCR Apoorva Mehrotra.
"Crucial congested junctions like AIIMS, Lutyens' Delhi, Nirman Bhawan are now on a future fit network," he said, adding the the company is addressing the call drop problems in these crucial junctions in the city by setting up 'war rooms', which will monitor the situation round-the-clock.
According to the company, Vodafone SuperNet 4G is available across all major work, educational, recreational and administrative hubs in Delhi NCR.
The company further announced a lifestyle proposition designed especially for young Indians to cater to their need for being always connected -- Vodafone 'U'.
"Vodafone 'U' is a lifestyle proposition that brings a bundle of benefits that will keep its users always connected with friends and fun via the world of internet, voice, music plus exciting digital offers and experiences," added Mehrotra.
