New Delhi, May 4 (IANS) It was a partly cloudy Wednesday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 27.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, the weather office said.
"The sky would be partly cloudy with dust storm or thunderstorm likely to occur later in the day," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The official, however, ruled out any possibility of rains in the day.
According to the Met office, maximum temperature is likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 46 percent, the official said.
Tuesday's maximum temperature settled at 39.6 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 30.0 degrees Celsius.
