New Delhi, May 2 (IANS) The CBI has arrested a Delhi Police inspector along with a man posing as a joint secretary for allegedly demanding Rs.3 lakh in bribe, agency officials said on Monday.
The inspector, Kehar Singh, deployed at west Delhi's Janak Puri police station, was arrested on Sunday night by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) sleuths for demanding the bribe following a complaint.
The CBI is conducting raids on the premises of the accused in Delhi.
It has recovered about Rs.40 lakh during the search operation.
