New Delhi, May 2 (IANS) It was a sunny morning on Monday in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 23.8 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average, the weather office said.
"The sky will remain partly cloudy throughout the day with duststorm and thunderstorm likely to occur towards evening," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
Maximum temperature is likely to hover around 41 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 21 percent.
Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 42 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 22 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
