Hyderabad, April 29 (IANS) Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) would look to bounce back against a struggling Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) here on Saturday after losing against Rising Pune Supergiants in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
RCB have won just two out of their five games in the league so far while the Sunrisers have pocketed three out their six outings.
But the last time these two had met in Bengaluru, RCB came out on top.
Sunrisers then lost to the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) but rallied back in style to grab crucial wins against Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Lions and Kings XI Punjab.
However, their winning momentum was halted by Pune where Mahendra Singh Dhonis men defeated SRH by 34 runs via Duckworth Lewis method in a rain-affected contest.
The batting failed miserably in the game as Hyderabad were restricted to 118-8.
This time however, the likes of David Warner, Eoin Morgan need to fire if the hosts are to challenge the mighty Bengaluru batting.
The franchise also have the option of playing New Zealanders Kane Williamson and Trent Boult, who can be match-winners on their day.
The home side have a useful bowling line up with the likes of Ashish Nehra, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, latest sensation Mustafizur Rahman and all-rounder Moises Henriques who would try and stop Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers - the duo who have scored runs for fun so far in the competition.
All-rounder Shane Watson has been in good form of late and Sarfraz Khan has also contributed on a number of occasions for the visitors.
But RCBs cause of concern will be their bowling which has failed to deliver the goods. The likes of Yuzvendra Chahal, Kane Richardson and Iqbal Abdulla need to pull up their socks if they are to progress in the tournament.
