Sahara One to launch Pakistani show soon

New Delhi, April 29 (IANS) Hindi general entertainment channel (GEC) Sahara One will soon be adding refreshing content to its programming lineup with the launch of “Kaanch Ki Gudiya” - a Pakistani show.

This show will replace the channel's existing two shows called “Aakhir Bahu Bhi Beti Thi” and “Master Mind”. The channel is operated by Trilogic Digital Media Limited (TDML), read a statement.

“Kaanch Ki Gudiya”, which will air from May 2, is an acquired show by Geo TV- Pakistan.

The show's title has been used metaphorically to associate girls with fragile glass dolls, which are beautiful but can easily be crushed.

The show revolves around a young orphan named Manaal and the troubles in her life.

Shivaani Jaisingh, chief operating officer, Trilogic Digital Media Limited shared: “The show has already made waves in Pakistan. We have maintained our compelling content promise. The show appeals to all our viewers from the Hindi heartland.”

The cast includes actors like Qavi Khan, Sami Khan, Yumna Zaidi, Sundus Tariq, Hina Khawaja Bayat and Hareb Farouq.
