Ridhi Arora to promote handloom in Delhi

New Delhi, April 29 (IANS) Designer Ridhi Arora is promoting India's handloom industry through her collection designed and crafted in Khadi at a fashion show for the differently-abled.

The show, organised by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) in association with Tamana, a non-profit organisation, is titled Inclusion Beyond Boundaries.

The fashion extravaganza attempts inclusion of the differently abled into the world of fashion. The exhibition will be held here on Saturday at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, the hospitality partner for the event.

Arora's collection titled Anmol- Precious wrapped in precious will be a mix of modern and ethnic, crafted in Indian fabric, giving garments a twist.

It will have pastel tones in stripes, checks, with embellishments and resham work.

Tamana is a non-profit voluntary organization created to provide professional help to children with developmental and mental disabilities.

"The collection is exclusively for women who like to experiment with their look, a woman who is not confined to the trends but likes to create her own niche and a very exclusive style statement," Arora said in a statement.
