Ujjain, April 28 (IANS) The foreign nationals who came to participate in the ongoing Simhastha Kumbh Mela in Ujjain city of Madhya Pradesh have been promoting cleanliness by connecting to "Green Ujjain - Clean Ujjain" movement.
The devout and the pilgrims not only from India but also from distant lands have been thronging in large numbers to participate in the Simhastha which started here from April 22.
For uninterrupted flow of Shipra river waters and to make Ujjain clean, the foreigners cleaned the river's banks.
Those participating in the movement were from the US, France, Germany and many other south Asian nations.
