Bucharest, April 25 (IANS) Spanish tennis veteran Fernando Verdasco grabbed the title of Bucharest Open after defeating Frenchman Lucas Pouille in the final on Monday.
The 32-year-old Verdasco won 6-3, 6-2 in 73 minutes in the final that had been delayed from Sunday due to rain in the Romanian capital, reports Efe.
The Bucharest trophy is the seventh single title in Verdasco's career and the first since his Houston achievement in 2014, also on clay ground.
