Leopard creates panic in Agra colony

Agra, April 25 (IANS) A leopard entered a residential colony and attacked a few people here on Monday, creating a panic, residents and officials said.

The leopard entered a house in the posh Suresh Nagar area, and attacked a few people before hiding in a vacant plot. Later, it was seen entering a room in a vacant house.

Wildlife officials reached the colony and were trying to capture the wild cat.

 

Divisional Forest Officer K.K. Singh told IANS that forest department range officer Rajesh Sharma along with a team of doctors from NGO WildLife SOS were keeping a watch on the leopard's movement.
