Brussels, April 22 (IANS/EFE) The Maalbeek Metro Station, targetted in the March 22 terror attack, will reopen on April 25 after being shut for over a month, the Brussels Inter-Municipal Transport Company (STIB) said on Friday.
"Maalbeek Station will reopen on Monday," a company spokesman said, adding that the hours of the metro network will be restricted from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. (local time).
During the March 22 terror attack, the suicide bomber was travelling in one of the subway cars when he detonated his explosives.
The infrastructure of the metro station remained intact throughout the blast.
A wall will be erected at the stop to honour the tragic loss of lives in the terror attack in which the Brussels Zaventem airport attack was also targetted.
A total of 34 people were killed in the March 22 attack.
