Madrid, April 22 (IANS) Capital football club Atletico Madrid's defender Jose Gimenez returned on Friday to the squad following his recovery from a muscle injury after six games out, and is ready for the La Liga game against Malaga here on Saturday .
The Uruguyan is now available to Argentine head coach Diego Simeone for Saturday's game at the Vicente Calderon, while his compatriot defender Diego Godin will not play due to a muscular injury sustained on Wednesday against Athletic Bilbao, reports Efe.
Meanwhile, Portuguese Tiago Mendes hasn't received clearance from the fractured ankle suffered last November 28.
