New Delhi, April 17 (IANS) The national capital experienced a hot day on Sunday with the maximum temperature settling three notches above the season's average at 40.1 degrees Celsius, the Met Office said. It forecast a partly cloudy sky with dust storm on Monday.
"The sky will remain partly cloudy throughout with haze likely to occur during morning," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 39 and 22 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Sunday's minimum temperature was recorded at 28.8 degrees Celsius, eight notches above the season's average.
