Tamil Star hero Vijay’s ‘Theri’/ which was dubbed as Police in Telugu had a tremendous opening in Both Telugu states. The movie garnered around Rs.85 Lakhs Share in both the states, which is the highest ever opening for Vijay in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ lost its pace at the box-office and there is no much impact of Vishnu’s‘Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam’.
This gave Police the much-needed breathing space. Dil Raju has presented Telugu version and Police got the buzz and promotions like a native Telugu film.
The talk of the film is decent and the film may continue its good run at the box-office. On the other side, the Tamil version ‘Their’ is also doing very well at the box-office at it has collected 13.1 cr in Tamilnadu.
