The biggest controversy ever faced by Baahubali: The Beginning after minor controversies like The Rape of Avantika is the film being awarded a National Award for Best Film. Many stated that the Rajamouli creation has no right to bag the award in any angle.
Talking about the same, Baahubali writer, Rajamoulis father V Vijayendra Prasad stated that there is no wrong in the film getting an award. Most of the times, films that get National Award are the ones less seen by the public. But for the first time, those films like Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijan, that are hugely liked by the public have fetched awards. Thats a good sign, he says.
