Beirut, April 12 (IANS) A powerful explosion hit the Lebanese city of Sidon on Tuesday, a security source said.
The blast targeted an official of the Palestinian Fatah movement. The fate of the official was still not known, Xinhua quoted the source as saying.
Witnesses said a booby-trapped car caused the blast that left an unspecified number of injuries.
