New Delhi, April 11 (IANS) The national capital experienced a pleasant day on Monday with the maximum temperature settling one notch below the season's average at 35.1 degrees Celsius, the Met Office said. It forecast a partly cloudy sky on Tuesday.
"Haze is very likely to occur in the morning while the sky would be partly cloudy on Tuesday," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 36 and 21 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Monday's minimum temperature was recorded at 21.1 degrees Celsius, average for the season while the humidity ranged between 32 and 70 percent.
Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 38 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 21 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.
