There is news rounding in filmcircles that Bollywood maker Karan Johar is planning to make the film in Bollywood and wants to give the direction chance of the remake to Vamshi himself. In a recent interview, Vamshi was asked about this.
The director did not clarify if the offer came his way but said that he would love to direct a Hindi film as it will give him a scope to expand his horizon. The director is currently busy penning a script for Akhil Akkineni’s second project, which is rumored to be a remake of the super hit Bollywood flick, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.
Two years back, popular film maker, Karan Johar bought the Hindi remake rights of French film,With the super success of Oopiri and Thozha, the remake in Bollywood may come back. In fact, a genre like this will work more in Bollywood. This is because the Multiplex audience are more in Bollywood than in Telugu or Tamil.
