Ranchi, April 9 (IANS) A huge cache of explosives was seized and one person was arrested in Jharkhand's Khuti district on Saturday.
According to officials, police seized 193 piece of gelatin sticks, 110 detonators, Rs.7,000 in cash and one motorbike from Sirka Garsul village in Khuti district, around 60 km from Ranchi.
Three youths were carrying the explosives but two of them managed to escape, police said.
Police sources said the explosives could have been made available to Maoist guerrillas to make landmines.
