New Delhi, April 7 (IANS) It was a sunny Thursday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 21.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
The Met Office has forecast cloudy sky with light rain later during the day.
"It was a sunny Thursday morning; however, the sky later during the day is likely to turn cloudy. Light rain or thundershower is also expected towards afternoon/evening," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius, the weather office said.
According to the weather office, the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 64 percent while the visibility at the same time stood at 2000 meter.
The maximum temperature on Wednesday settled at 36.9 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 23.5 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average.
