New Delhi, April 5 (IANS) The national capital witnessed a warm and cloudy day on Tuesday with the maximum temperature settling at 35.8 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, said the Met Office forecasting rain or thunderstorm on Wednesday evening.
"Haze is likely to occur in morning while the sky would remain partly cloudy on Wednesday. Rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at many places in Delhi and NCR (National Capital Region) on Wednesday evening or night," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 35 and 25 degrees Celsius, respectively.
On Tuesday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.6 degrees Celsius, seven notches above the season's average while the maximum humidity was recorded at 64 percent.
Monday's maximum temperature settled at 38.8 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 22.9 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average.
