Mumbai, April 3 (IANS) "Masaan" actor Vicky Kaushal, who has been recognised in the film industry for his talent, says he will continue to treat each new film with the same passion he had for his debut project.
Talking about what he has learnt from his seniors in the industry, the 27-year-old actor said: "I have learnt that craving for good work should be there in me always... something which I had during my first film. That desire must persist in me even if I have done my 50th film. Therefore, I try to treat each film as my first film and do it with same passion."
As of now, he says, "life is going good, but I want to make it excellent".
"After 'Masaan', I have been receiving many good scripts. It really feels good when people who inspire you call you for a discussion for films. I believe I am in the right direction only when I work hard with full of honesty," said the son of action director Shyam Kaushal.
Vicky said he seeks his father's guidance for the scripts that come his way.
"If I find that a script is interesting, I bounce off to my dad. He gives me a neutral opinion. He has been working in this industry for 30 years, so naturally he has the experience to give me an opinion in a different perspective. He is my role model not only in professional life, but also in personal life."
Work wise, after receiving a positive response for his last release "Zubaan", Vicky will next be seen in "Raman Raghav 2.0", directed by Anurag Kashyap and "Manmarziyan" with Bhumi Pednekar and Ayushmann Khurrana. The film is directed by Sameer Sharma.
