A special show of Oopiri was arranged for Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu today. He was very impressed with the film and had high praises for the cast and crew of the film. He said, " Oopiri is a beautiful film. it is devoid of vulgarity and contains values and meaning of life till the end. I believe films must entertain, enlighten or give a message, Oopiri does all this at once in a meaningful and entertaining way. Akkineni Nagarjuna reminded me of legend Akkineni Nageswara Rao in such a difficult role and Karthi did a fabulous job as well. It is must watch for Telugu movie lovers, one that reminds us of classics of past. I once again congratulate entire cast and crew and Prasad V Potluri for making this gem of a film".
