Islamabad, April 2 (IANS) Trade between Pakistan and China is likely to enhance by 24 percent after completion of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project.
According to sources, the project will open immense trade opportunities for Pakistan with other regional countries as well, Radio Pakistan reported.
Sources said that the project will create greater economic integration in the region and help create new jobs in Pakistan.
Under the CPEC, special industrial parks will be set up in all the federating units.
The $46 billion corridor project envisages construction of infrastructure projects such as motorways, expressways and rail lines to bolster connectivity.
Several power projects will also be established to help Pakistan meet its growing energy requirements.
