New Delhi, April 1 (IANS) Britain-based luxury barber shop Truefitt & Hill has opened its flagship outlet here.
The outlet at the Meherchand Market, Lodhi Colony here, was launched on March 30.
Brought to India by the Lloyds Luxuries Ltd, which has acquired the master franchise license for not just India but also Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Myanmar and Vietnam.
"Our aim is that the customer should ultimately feel revitalised and renewed when its time to leave. We dont just offer a service, we offer an experience. Grooming yourself is a daily necessity, we provide you with the most luxurious atmosphere and highly skilled barbers and staff to turn that into a luxurious experience, Krishna Gupta, managing director of Lloyds Luxuries Ltd, said in a statement.
The outlet is spread over two floors, with two royal suites and five barber chairs. Interiors in mahogany wood and a blue wallpaper create a contrast.
The vision of Truefit & Hill's officials is to take it across over 75 cities in India with over 200 outlets by 2024. They also want to set up an academy to "train Indian barbers in the fine art of male grooming in the near future".
