Oopiri Has Changed Me A Lot – Nagarjuna

Nagarjuna, Karthi,Thamanna’s Oopiri which was released on march 25th with raving reviews  is running successfully all over.Film unit had a chit chat with ‘Wheel Chair Friends’ yesterday at Annapurna 7 acres. During this meet, Nagarjuna said, “I know the suffering of people in a wheel chair as my mother suffered from arthritis for 8 years.Any disability is only for the body but not for the mind. Actually, people in the wheel chair are not disabled but they are different abled persons. ’Oopiri’ made me realise the value of life and freedom.This film has changed me a lot spiritually and bought positivity in my thought process.Karthi and I became very close to this film which is evident on screen. I immediately agreed to do this film when vamshy narrated me the script.The success of this film increased our responsibility and belief in such scripts.”

Director Vamshy Paidipally said that Oopiri is an emotional journey for him and is a very special film for Nagarjuna. he also said that Nagarjuna has been behind this film from the beginning by encouraging at every step and he is very happy with the result. Producer Prasad V Potluri  thanked the audience and said that the decision of Nagarjuna and Vamshy to do this film is the main reason behind Oopiri.He also announced that they will auction the painting made by Karthi in the film and donate the amount to ‘Challengers On Wheels’ organisation.
