London, Mar 29 (PTI) Pop star Mariah Carey reportedly had her request to film on location denied by iconic London department store Harrods.
The singer, 46, apparently wanted to film her reality TV show "Mariah's World" in the luxury store, but her request was declined after managers felt the superstar's presence would be too disruptive to customers, reported Daily Mirror.
Carey, who is currently on her European tour, apparently wanted to use Harrods' make-up department as the setting to treat a member of her team to a makeover.
It is alleged that the star, who is known for her diva demands, was also refused permission to "film outside of opening hours".
"Mariah's entourage would have been in the dozens and there's no way usual trading could have gone on, but they also refused to open the store especially for her... they had to look for alternative locations for the shoot," a source said.
