New Delhi, March 28 (IANS) Actor Arjun Kapoor says prepping up for playing a house husband in "Ki & Ka" made him realise that "homemaking is a tough, but a selfless art".
"It is very difficult for both men and women to run a home. We keep saying that, 'How would you know, you are sitting at home'. But the woman is not sitting at home. She is working and running the household. Woman makes a home.
"Homemaking is a selfless art. It is the toughest and the most selfless thing in the world," Arjun told the media here during a promotional event on Monday.
The 30-year-old actor, who started his acting career with "Ishaqzaade", also said that women are taken for "granted".
"We take them for granted. After doing the film, I realised that you can't do it unless you don't put your 100 percent in homemaking because it's a very tiring job," said the "Aurangzeb" star.
Directed by R. Balki, "Ki & Ka" also features actress Kareena Kapoor Khan and is slated to release on April 1.
