Islamabad, March 28 (IANS) Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will attend the fourth nuclear security summit in Washington on Thursday.
On his way to the US, Sharif will leave for London on Monday with a brief stopover of couple of days, The Nation reported.
During his two-day stay in London, Sharif would meet the Pakistani community and apprise them of the development works being carried out in the country.
The nuclear security summit in the US will discuss the evolving threats and highlight steps to minimise the use of highly-enriched uranium.
The summit also offered an opportunity for Pakistan to project its credentials in the nuclear field.
On the sidelines of the summit, Sharif is expected to meet US President Barack Obama.
Besides other issues, security situation in Pakistan is likely to be discussed.
