Gurgaon, March 26 (IANS) At least five people were killed and six critically injured in separate accidents in Gurgaon on Saturday, police said.
Two people were killed and three injured when their car rammed into a Delhi Metro pillar on the Mehrauli-Gurgaon road in Gurgaon in the early hours of Saturday.
Police said the victims worked at a car showroom and were returning home in Mahipalpur area of south Delhi after attending a party at a club on M.G. road.
The deceased were identified as Amit Kumar and Pradeep Balyan, while the three injured, including two women, were hospitalised.
Amit, who hailed from Haryana's Ballabhgarh town, was driving the vehicle registered in his name.
Three more people were killed in two other accidents in Gurgaon.
A speeding car killed a teenager named Vishal (14) near Daula village on Sohna road.
Chanderbhan (32), who was driving the car, too died in the accident, while Kuldeep, his mother Jagna Devi and Rahul, who were also in the car, were critically injured.
In another accident, Munni Devi was mowed down by a vehicle on the Delhi-Jaipur national highway near Nakhraula, 45 km from Delhi.
Police have registered cases, but no one has been arrested so far.
