New Delhi, March 25 (IANS) Model-turned-actor Gaurav Arora, who has been signed by the Bhatt camp for upcoming film Raaz 4, says that he saw modelling as a step towards the acting world.
Having walked the ramp for ace designers like Manish Malhotra and other brands, Gaurav shared that he aspired to work in Mumbai with the motive to become an actor.
"When I came to Mumbai, I always wanted to become an actor. When I was in Madhya Pradesh, I thought modelling is the only way I can get into acting. I saw John (Abraham), Arjun Rampal getting into films... so that way I believed that this is the only way I can get into the field, Arora told IANS over the phone from Mumbai.
"So I came here and got into modelling and while modelling, I was grooming myself as an actor. Because being from outside, it takes a little while," he added.
While the actor is filming for "Raaz 4" with actor Emraan Hashmi, he will soon be seen in Vikram Bhatt directorial "Love Games", essaying a lead role.
"Love Games" is set to release on April 8.
