London, Mar 26 (PTI) Latin superstar Luis Miguel has cancelled another string of upcoming shows in Mexico City due to an ongoing illness.
The 45-year-old veteran singer, who suffers from hearing condition tinnitus, previously postponed his mini-residency at Mexico's National Auditorium in November last year after struggling with nose and throat infection rhinopharyngitis.
He had planned to return next week to make it up to fans.
However, he has since pulled out of the gigs.
A joint statement issued by venue officials and representatives for Miguel reveals he "must complete the necessary medical treatments that (he) began in late 2015 to fully recover."
It does not specify the ailment he is currently receiving treatment for.
