Shimla, March 25 (IANS) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Friday laid foundations stones and inaugurated developmental projects worth Rs.97 crore in Baddi and Barotiwala areas in Solan district.
He inaugurated a 220-kV sub-station in Kulhariwala village in Baddi, completed at a cost of Rs.45 crore.
The electricity station will strengthen transmission and distribution to the Baddi-Barotiwala industrial corridor, a government statement said.
The chief minister also inaugurated a trade centre in Baddi, some 100 km from the state capital, completed at a cost of Rs.13 crore.
He laid the foundation stone of a helipad at Barotiwala costing Rs.1.25 crore.
The chief minister also inaugurated the lift water supply scheme of Kishanpura Hariraipur with an outlay of Rs.2.12 crore.
